How does a diagnostics check work?

A diagnostic car test may sound complicated but have peace of mind that our qualified and expert engineers and mechanics at Price Brothers Engineering will make the process simple and seamless whilst taking away any stress. The first stop for any car diagnostic check is to hear first-hand what your experience was like with the vehicle when you noticed something was wrong. Using state-of-the-art equipment which looks at the car’s engine control unit (ECU), we’re able to identify any issues through a number of sensors. The warning light will be the first indicator, however, the test equipment which can only be used by trained technicians will be able to provide a more detailed account of the issue. This could range from ignition coils firing to increased engine temperature. Once we have exposed the root of the warning light we can get to work on fixing, repairing or replacing any parts as required.

It is advised to have a diagnostics check annually at the very least. Not only does this ensure that your vehicle is in good working order for short and long journeys, but it can also save you money down the line because you’re addressing small problems before they become big ones.
